Most window cleaning sites make you call just to get a rough number. Here's what actually drives the price, with real ranges.
What Determines Your Price
- Home size: a 1,000–2,000 sq. ft. home costs less than a 3,000+ sq. ft. one — more glass, more time.
- Interior, exterior, or both: exterior-only is the most common and most affordable option. Adding interior roughly doubles the work.
- Access: ground-level windows are quick. Second-storey, skylights, or high-rise condo units with limited balcony access take longer and cost more.
- Add-ons: screens, tracks, and siding cleaning are usually priced separately from the glass itself.
Typical Residential Ranges (Calgary, 2026)
- Exterior only, 1,000–2,000 sq. ft. home: roughly $250–$350
- Interior + exterior, 1,000–2,000 sq. ft. home: roughly $400–$550
- Larger homes (3,000+ sq. ft.), interior + exterior: $650 and up
These are starting ranges — your actual quote depends on window count, condition, and access. We'll always confirm the real number with you before booking, not after.
Commercial Pricing Works Differently
Storefronts and offices are usually priced per visit based on glass area and frequency (weekly, biweekly, or monthly recurring service tends to bring the per-visit price down compared to one-off cleanings).
What About "Too Good to Be True" Quotes?
If a quote is dramatically below everyone else's, ask what's excluded — screens, tracks, and interior sills are common places corners get cut. A fair price should be clear about what's actually included.
